About Us

Now you can reserve a space at any time!

All faculty and students who wish to reserve one of the library's primary instructional spaces can now do so from the library website.  Just click the "Reserve a Room" button in the navigation bar on the main page.

 

Usage for classes will be prioritized; if a teacher contacts us and needs a space that students had previously booked for a study group, we'll get in touch with the students and find them an alternative space elsewhere in the library. 

Otherwise, space reservations are on a first come, first served basis.  Please do not book a space that you aren't sure you'll need.  And pretty please, cancel your reservation (which can also be done online!) as soon as you are certain you will no longer be needing it.

Currently we are offering online, self-service room booking for three areas:

  1. The Instructional / Conference Area
  2. The Presentation / Reference area
  3. The Media Room (room 102)

How to Reserve a Space

  1. Scheduling Example Image 1Click the "Reserve a Space" button in the header navigation bar, or simply click here.  This will take you to a page containing, in part, the information pictured to the right:

  2. Scroll down and click the "Go to Date" button, and enter the date you want to reserve.

  3. Scheduling Example Image 2Scroll through the availability of the space you want to book.  If your desired hours are red, that period has already been booked by someone else.  If the desired time is green, the room is available.  Click your desired start time, enter your desired end time.  The block of time you have selected will turn orange. And the confirmation screen, partially pictured to the right, will appear.

  4. Enter your information (name, email, name of class or group meeting) and click "Submit my Booking"

The system will automatically book the room for you, and will send an email confirmation both to you and to the library.
