Online (Remote) Access to Blount Library Resources
UPDATE: Until Averett's I.T. Department puts library access behind the new OKTA login system, new students do not have personal access to digital materials. Please email circdesk@averett.edu to be given a temporary user name and password.
As an Averett student or employee, you can search subscription databases and electronic journals from any campus or off-campus Internet location.
All web-accessible materials will have a blue button that looks like the one on the right; it will read either "View eBook" as it does here, or "View Full Text" for journal articles. (If the library also has a physical copy of the book, the call number will also appear; the bottom portion of the image on the right indicates the location of our physical copy of this book.)
After clicking the button to access a digital resource, you will be prompted to enter the username and password you were originally issued by the Information Technology (IT) Department when you were enrolled. Only include the first part of your email address before the @ sign as your username. If you continue to have problems with your password, please contact the IT Department at (434) 791-5720, or go to the IT Department page.
