Leisure Reading
In addition to our academic volumes and journals, Blount Library offers a selection of popular fiction, magazines, and newspapers. And, if you are feeling particularly inspired by one of your professors, we also offer books from faculty authors. Click the hyperlinks for a list of each.
Book Sales
We have some used popular fiction and academic books for sale, on the main floor. One dollar per book. Please pay at the circulation desk.
Table Top Gaming
Students are always welcome to bring their own games - and we will happily accept any donations to the library's game collection.

Come on over with a few friends and enjoy an evening of gaming. Just keep the noise to a reasonable volume (or play behind closed doors in an upstairs study room), as other students might be working.

Coffee and Socializing
Our self-service coffee station has returned! A Keurig coffee maker, cups, coffee pods, and other necessities are located near the main door, across from the magazines and archival display case.
Coffee = $2- Hot chocolate = $1
- Tea = $1
Make your drink as you like it. The price covers cups, lids, sugar, creamer, etc..
