Education Tutorial

Welcome, Education Students!

The Education Research Tutorial will introduce you to the Averett University Library and help you locate books, articles, facts and statistics in the fields of education and related social sciences. You can return to it anytime to refresh your skills.

The tutorial is in 10 parts, with five worksheets and a survey to assess your perception of learning outcomes. Please submit the worksheets and survey online. The social sciences librarian may consult with you to clarify learning objectives.

Learning Goals and Objectives

On successfully completing this tutorial, you will be able to define and articulate a topic or problem, locate reliable academic and professional sources on your topic, retrieve a coherent set of full content sources, evaluate your sources, apply them in a research product or presentation, and attribute your sources using APA citation style.
