Easy Cite 2.0: Select Your Citation Style

Welcome to the new Easy Cite Tutorial 2.0

In academic writing, you are obligated to cite all information which is neither your own idea, nor 'common knowledge.'  In short, you need a citation regardless of whether you quote, paraphrase, or summarize something that you read.  When in doubt, include a citation!

The first step is to select an appropriate citation style.  If your instructor has made the selection for you, follow their instructions.  If you are allowed to choose your own citation style, select one format for the assignment and use it consistently throughout the paper.
